In this weeks edition of Star Trek & Physics Weekly by Master Q I will continue talk about the basics of the quantum theorem. After several editions relating to this topic, this week’s edition I will put Star Trek in it and will be the main focus of this edition.

~~ST USING "QUANTUM"~~
Quantum Filament: According to ST a subatomic object which is very long, has lots of energy, and little mass. Nothing more known, but on Disater on TNG they were struck by this
Quantum fissure: It’s a area in the 4D universe (or space-time continuum) where it connects to other quantum realties
Quantum flux: This is descried as a event or area that is dimensionally unstable if someone is in this state then they will be shifting between quantum realties
Quantum matrix: A energy pattern in life forms / objects
Quantum phase inhibitor: (Tox Uthat) Invented by 27th century scientist Kal Dano. It can stop all nuclear reaction within a star
Quantum reality: Realities that can be very similar to ours of very different in general perspective universes that are side by side in the same area, but different reality dimension. All that can happen according to probability does happen in other quantum realties
Quantum resonance oscillator: Part of the transporter module
Quantum signature: A signature to a object or person that shows what quantum reality they belong to
Quantum singularity life-form: This life form lives from another time-space continuum where there children first incubated in black holes
Quantum singularity: Collapse of a neutron star, after it has collapsed nothing can escape its gravity
Quantum slipstream drive: It is similar to Borg transwarp drive this form of warp drive can go much faster then a regular warp drive
Quantum torpedo: Developed in 2360s its release of 0 point energy filed makes it more dangerous to enemy ships where it can eat away as deflector shields after its antimatter explosion.

~~SUBSPACE AND QUANTUM MECHANICS~~
Before we can really have warp drive or something like that to use what we know of general relativity to get around the limits that special relativity gives us like time transformations & increased mass. To create some kind of engine like warp drive that deals with quantum mechanics and entering subspace which is basically another dimension goes to general relativity as a result you need to know how they work together and build a big picture. Quantum gravity is the connection between quantum mechanics & general relativity and subspace plus warp drive is just that so we need to understand and research quantum gravity to make anything like warp drive possible.

~~QUANTUM REALITIES~~
Quantum realties or || universe is an interesting subject for science fiction, but do they really exist? We don’t really know some scientists think that they do, but a majority right now does not. Star Trek incorporates them as fact. We need to know more about quantum mechanics more specific quantum gravity again like stated before to really answer if they do or do not exist.
On the episode "Parallels" on TNG it was an episode from the last season with Worf moving between || universes. On this episode they say that Worf’s RNA is at a state of quantum-level flux which is out of sync with the universe s

Master_Q I haven’t been able to read all of your editions could you possibly e-mail then to me?

We can see the effects of mass by observing gravity but scientist say that there may be something called ’dark matter’ that causes gravity effects with no observable mass. It may be that this dark matter is simply knots and folds in space beyond the 3D. How does this relate too ’Parallel universes’, well in most sci fi these parallels seem to be connected to and rely on our reality, even on a personal level (another novice?! LORD NO!). I think that if a mirror universe (personal parallel) exist it probably is indentical too ours, a kind of reflection or imprint. To say that there are infinate novices doin infinite things implies connection, if our sun went nova it would alter our limited space by altering gravity and energy output how would this effect our parallel if for some reason they didn’t go nova? Gee Q, this is wild....

I was just keeping it simple using "KISS". This edition is just a simple one I have made with connections to ST. Sorry for not making it technical enough for you.

To make my life easier I just going to create another topic on the board including all of my Star Trek & Physics Weekly editions, but I will probably do it a little later today because I have to do a few things at the moment.

Oh yeah, about the parallel universes. Personaly I doubt it, why you ask? Too say that every particle, photon and ect has its own infinate series of universes seems like a waste. The Law of conservation of matter/energy and equilibrium and even plant/animal nature seem too lean twords no waste and no excess. In Star trek worf had all these possibilties, but that would imply possibilities for every single particle of reality (Do I get outta bed at 7:00,7:01,7:02? Does an atom collide with another?) every event spawning an infinate number of new universes... Ofcourse there probably are other universes, but Trek style parallels, I doubt it. Then again I’m no isaac newton either.

The Language of the Universe

Please tune into my next weeks edition of Star Trek & Physics Weekly which will be about math. Its very simple math and very basic so its not hard at all as a result no one should avoid it. After doing several editions on quantum mechanics and probability I think we need a break so I like I said I’m putting some math into the next edition. Also after edition 22 then I will be focusing on electricity!
