Yeah i agree get a chain or gatling gun and pump them full of lead. in TNG Picard blasted 2 of them with a chain gun so why not in real life, they only have shealds against faser fire, so i think its kinda stupid that they still don’t use ’old-fashion’ chain guns.

Do just like Picard: get a chain gun and blast ’em. And i also think its stupid that the federation doesn’t use oldfashion, chain and gatlin guns against the borg.

the best is the tr 44 or watever it is called, the rifle that is used in ds9, ina book they sue the gun to go threw the shiedds of borg , adapt that.

Picard was ticked when he did that and I doubt it would work again.

The borg probably had never been shot at as an option. They will simpily alter there Sheilds to repel the obsolete tragectories.

As for the best defence against the borg, please watch End Game, Season 7 of Voyager. You will find it FUN and enlightening as we watch the borg get trashed.
