Trek Rockets Launching In September
By StarTrek.com Staff - March 18, 2012
MPC Rockets, wildly popular in the 1960s, are ready to launch again, courtesy of Round 2. And the first wave of new products from Round 2 will include a trio Star Trek rockets, namely the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, the Klingon Bird-of-Prey and the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864. Each of the Trek rocket kits utilizes graphic elements from specific Star Trek ships to create very-stylized, high-impact themed rockets that can fly up to 260 feet high. The parachutes are covered in color, Trek-centric graphics designed to make an impact as the rocket descends.
The ready-to-build Star Trek rockets can be assembled in less than an hour, come with detailed Trek decals and range in size from 13 to 20 inches tall. Engines, igniters, recovery wadding, launch control units and launch pads will be sold separately.
Round 2’s Star Trek rockets will be available in September. Keep an eye on StarTrek.com for additional details.
