James T. Kirk kicks it into high gear in this explosive new look at Star Trek Into Darkness, which premiered during The Walking Dead on Sunday night in the U.S.

The action-packed 60-second spot marks the beginning of Paramount's advertising campaign for Star Trek Into Darkness, which opens in the U.S. on May 17 and in IMAX theaters on May 15.
