Before Picard... And even before there was Kirk… There was Captain Jonathan Archer. So notes the voiceover intro of the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise – The Complete First Season. The trailer is up now, and The Complete First Season will make its Blu-ray debut on March 26.
As previously reported, the six-disc set from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution will include the 25 first-season Enterprise episodes and new audio commentaries (among them Rick Berman, Brannon Braga, Dan Curry, Mike Sussman, David Livingston, Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating). Fans can also expect several bonus features, notably "To Boldly Go: Launching Enterprise," a brand-new three-part retrospective documentary.

"Part One: Countdown" delves into the challenges of developing a Trek prequel series; it boasts interviews with Berman and Braga together, Herman Zimmerman, Michael and Denise Okuda, etc. "Part Two: Boarding the NX-01" details the show’s casting and puts a spotlight on making the "Broken Bow" pilot; Scott Bakula, director James Conway, Trinneer and Keating are among the interviewees. "Part Three: First Flight" explores the remainder of season one and offers interviews with production and post-production personnel. Finally, The Complete First Season also includes previously released special features, among them outtakes, Archival Mission Logs and deleted scenes.
Star Trek: Enterprise -- The Complete First Season will feature a total of 19-plus hours of material and will cost $130. Keep an eye on StarTrek.com for additional details.
